Seed & Aeration

We provide spring and fall aeration services. Aeration is one of the most important practices in maintaining a healthy and “full” lawn. Aeration is the process of pulling 3-inch core plugs over the entire property with an aerator machine to alleviate soil compaction, improve overall turf health and reduce thatch buildup. Soil that has been compacted allows no room for water, air and nutrients to circulate within the soil. Aeration breaks up any thatch buildup and allows these elements to penetrate down to the root system of your lawn. Aeration is also a great way to “thicken up” a lawn that has growing bare spots or has become patchy. Over seeding commonly follows aeration to fill in a lawn for a thick, full look.
